How to Transcribe WhatsApp Voice Messages from Android

Easily convert your WhatsApp voice messages from an Android device into transcripts with Audiogest. Supports all formats, up to 350MB and 4 hours in length.

Pre-Requisites

  • Android device with saved WhatsApp voice messages.
  • An Audiogest account.
  • Adhere to file limits: Maximum 350MB and up to 4 hours. All audio and video formats are accepted.

Steps

  1. Pinpoint the Voice Message

    • Open your WhatsApp application on Android and go to the relevant conversation with the voice message.
  2. Transfer the Voice Message

    • Long-press the voice message bubble and choose 'Forward'.
    • Select 'Share' and send the voice message to your computer via email or other methods.
  3. Navigate to Audiogest

    • Open a web browser and enter Audiogest’s website.
    • Sign in if you have an account, or register if you're new.
  4. Initiate File Upload

    • Once logged in, move to the 'Upload' tab.
    • Click 'Select File' to find the WhatsApp voice message you transferred, or simply drag and drop the file.
  5. Indicate Number of Speakers

    • Enter the count of unique speakers involved in the voice message.
  6. Input Vocabulary

    • Use the 'Vocabulary' section to list specific names, terms, or acronyms for enhanced transcription accuracy.
  7. Hit 'Generate Transcript'

    • Click on the 'Generate Transcript' button to start processing the file.

Notes

  • Make sure your file meets the 350MB size and 4-hour length limitations.
