Support & Analytics Services
We use Plausible Analytics and PostHog to gather data about website usage to enhance user experience. Both analytics platforms are hosted within the European Union and ensure that no personal data is collected or shared with any third parties. Analytics data is used solely to improve our services and optimize user experience. We do not use analytics data or otherwise any other data, to sell ads or for any other commercial purpose unrelated to improving our service. We utilize Atlas for offer customer support and web analytics, including chat functionalities. Atlas may collect personal information such as email addresses and time zone locations to facilitate customer service interactions. Please refer to the Atlas privacy policy and terms for more information.
What data do we collect and how?
The personal data we collect is limited to email addresses and names from users who opt to create an account with our web application. We collect data and process it when you:
- Register online or place an order for any of our products or services.
- Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
- Use our web application.
How do we use your data?
We use your email address to authenticate your account and provide access to our web application. If you choose to save your transcriptions and summaries, we store them securely. We use data collected through Atlas, Plausible Analytics and PostHog to analyze and optimize user experience.
For processing with AI models, recordings are temporarily transferred to servers located in the United States or the United Kingdom. We engage with third-party platforms such as Replicate.com and Modal.com for these services.
We deploy the OpenAI API for generating AI-powered digests, summaries, or action items based on user-provided prompts. For detailed information on OpenAI's data handling practices, please review the OpenAI API Privacy Policy. OpenAI does not train or fine-tune AI models on data that is sent to their API.
All data, files, or recordings sent to or generated by Audiogest are never used to train or fine-tune machine learning or AI models.
How do we store your data?
Your email address, user profile, and any transcripts or summaries are stored on secure servers located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. All audio and video recordings converted to audio files are securely stored on Amazon Web Services servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). You may remove your recordings, transcripts, and digests by deleting the files in the web application.
Our applications and databases are hosted on Railway.com, with all data securely stored in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (EU).
Retention of Data on Account Deletion
To prevent fraud and ensure the integrity of our services, Audiogest may retain certain information, including your email address and some billing details, even after you delete your account. This information will be kept securely and only for as long as necessary to prevent fraud and comply with our legal obligations.
Email Communications and Marketing
By signing up for an account with Audiogest, you consent to be added to our newsletter and marketing email list. You may opt-out of these communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in the email messages. We do not share your email with third parties.
