How to Transcribing iPhone Voice Memos

Requirements

  • An iPhone with voice memo files.
  • An active Audiogest account.
  • File restrictions: up to 350MB in size and a maximum length of 4 hours. Compatibility with all audio and video formats is guaranteed.

Stepwise Instructions

  1. Access Your Voice Memos

    • Open the 'Voice Memos' app on your iPhone to locate the relevant voice memo.
  2. Export the Memo

    • Select the memo and tap on the share icon.
    • Choose a method to export the file to your computer.
  3. Log into Audiogest

    • Navigate to Audiogest’s website using your preferred browser.
    • Sign in with your existing account or opt to 'Create Account' if you're new.
  4. Initiate the File Upload

    • Upon logging in, go to the 'Upload' section.
    • Click the 'Choose File' button and locate your exported voice memo. You can also drag and drop the file.
  5. Enter the Speaker Count

    • Identify and input the number of unique speakers in the voice memo.
  6. Add Vocabulary

    • Include any specific words, terms, or acronyms in the 'Vocabulary' box to enhance transcript accuracy.
  7. Hit 'Generate Transcript'

    • Press the 'Generate Transcript' button to kick-start the transcription process.

Note

  • File should be within the 350MB size limit and not exceed 4 hours in duration.
  • All audio and video formats are supported.
  • A notification or email will be sent to you when the transcript is ready, depending on your settings.
