Frequently asked questions regarding billing on Audiogest
How is transcript credit used?
One transcript credit equals one minute of audio. For example, a 30-minute file costs 30 credits.
Do AI summaries and notes use extra credits?
No. AI-generated summaries, notes, and reports are included for free once your transcript is complete. You only pay for transcription minutes.
How is transcription length calculated?
You pay per audio minute uploaded. For example, a 30-minute file uses 30 credits.
Do I get an invoice after payment?
Yes, you'll receive a tax compliant invoice. Do not forget to enter your Tax ID during checkout if you are making a purchase as a business.
Is VAT included?
Prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout if applicable.
Do I need a subscription?
No. You can simply buy pay-as-you-go credits whenever you need them. We do offer subscriptions at cheaper rates than pay-as-you-go, and for businesses or teams that want to share accounts or credits together.
How does the Team plan work?
You get 30 hours of credits for each member of your team. This credit is shared among all members. You can add more credit at any time if you need.
Do unused hours roll over?
For subscription plans, hours reset each month and do not roll over. Pay-as-you-go credits stay valid until used.
Do you offer a student discount?
Yes, 35% off for all credit purchases! Just sign up with your student or academic email address and the discount will be automatically applied. Don't see the discount? Send us an email from a .edu or student email address to get the discount code.
