How to Transcribe WhatsApp Voice Messages from Android

Currently, WhatsApp on Android does not have a built-in feature to transcribe voice messages. While you can listen to them, there's no native way to convert them to text directly within the app.

This is where Audiogest comes in. If you need to do more than just listen, like getting a written record of your voice notes, identifying who said what, or even getting an AI-powered summary of the conversation, Audiogest is the perfect tool for the job.

How to transcribe WhatsApp voice messages with Audiogest

  1. Export your voice message from WhatsApp: Open WhatsApp, find the voice message, tap and hold on it, select 'Forward', and then use the 'Share' icon to save it to your files or send it to your computer.
  2. Sign up or log in to Audiogest: Visit our website and create an account or log in.
  3. Upload the voice message: Go to the upload page and select the file you just exported from WhatsApp.
  4. (Optional) Enhance your transcript: For even better results, you can specify the number of speakers for automatic speaker labeling and add custom vocabulary for higher accuracy.
  5. Generate your transcript: Click the button and let Audiogest work its magic. You'll have a full transcript, and from there you can generate summaries, highlights and more.
