Use the Audiogest ChatGPT plugin

Last updated October 6, 2026

Connect Audiogest to ChatGPT to ask questions about your recordings, read transcripts, and compare saved summaries and reports. You do not need to copy the text into your chat.

Open the Audiogest plugin in ChatGPT

Before you connect

  • Have an Audiogest account with a verified email address and access to the organization you want to use.
  • Have a completed transcript or saved document in Audiogest.
  • Sign in to ChatGPT. Plugin availability depends on your ChatGPT plan, region, and workspace settings. Your workspace administrator may need to allow Audiogest.

Connect Audiogest to ChatGPT

  1. Open Audiogest in ChatGPT.
  2. Select Install plugin. If prompted, select Connect to connect your Audiogest account.
  3. Sign in to Audiogest.
  4. On the Audiogest permission page, select the organization you want to use, review the requested access, and allow the connection.
  5. Return to ChatGPT and open a conversation. Type @Audiogest and select Audiogest before asking your question. You can also select it from the + menu when available.

You can also find Audiogest under Settings > Plugins in ChatGPT. Older versions may call this section Apps. Follow the setup shown in your version of ChatGPT.

What can you do?

  • Find recent recordings or search by file name, title, or words in a transcript or saved document.
  • Read transcripts with speakers and timestamps.
  • Find and read saved summaries, reports, and other documents.
  • Ask ChatGPT to summarize a meeting, collect decisions and next steps, or compare findings across interviews.
  • Ask for links to the source files in Audiogest.

The plugin can read your existing content. It cannot upload recordings, start transcription, edit or delete files, or save new documents in Audiogest. Answers and documents that ChatGPT writes stay in your chat. To upload or process a new recording, open Audiogest.

Try these questions

  • “@Audiogest Summarize my latest meeting transcript. Include decisions and next steps.”
  • “@Audiogest Find where we discussed pricing in my recordings and show the relevant passages.”
  • “@Audiogest Find my reports about customer feedback and compare their main findings.”
  • “@Audiogest Read the complete transcript of the planning meeting and list the action items. Include timestamps and links.”

Include a file name, topic, or phrase to help ChatGPT find the correct content. For long recordings, ask it to read the complete transcript before drawing conclusions.

Which files can ChatGPT read?

The connection uses the organization you selected when allowing access. It can read your own files, files shared with the organization, and files in shared folders. It cannot read another member’s private files.

To use a different organization, reconnect and select that organization on the Audiogest permission page.

Privacy and disconnecting

When ChatGPT reads a transcript or document, that content is shared with ChatGPT to answer your question. Review your ChatGPT data and memory settings before using confidential recordings. See OpenAI’s information about connected apps and data use and the Audiogest privacy policy.

To disconnect, open Settings > Plugins in ChatGPT, select Audiogest, and disconnect the account. Disconnecting does not delete your files in Audiogest.

If something does not work

  • You cannot install or connect: check your ChatGPT plan, region, and workspace settings. If access is disabled by your administrator, ask them to allow Audiogest.
  • Sign-in or permission fails: verify your Audiogest email address and check that you can open the selected organization. Then reconnect.
  • A file is missing: check the selected organization and whether the file is yours or shared with you. Include its name in your question.
  • The transcript is empty: open the recording in Audiogest and check that transcription has finished.

This plugin connects ChatGPT to your Audiogest content. The separate Audiogest GPT answers product and support questions without reading your account.
