Use Audiogest with Claude
Last updated October 6, 2026
Connect Audiogest to Claude to ask questions about your recordings, read transcripts, and compare saved summaries and reports. Claude calls these connections connectors.
Coming soon in the connector directory
The Audiogest listing in Claude’s connector directory is coming soon. You can connect Audiogest manually now using the address below. You do not need to wait for the directory listing.
Before you connect
- Have an Audiogest account with a verified email address and access to the organization you want to use.
- Have a completed transcript or saved document in Audiogest.
- Use a Claude account that allows custom connectors. Available options depend on your plan and workspace settings.
For Claude Team and Enterprise workspaces, an owner or another person with permission must add the connector first. Each member then connects their own Audiogest account.
Add Audiogest manually
- In Claude, open Customize > Connectors. If you are adding the connector for a Claude workspace, open Organization settings > Connectors.
- Select Add custom connector. If Claude shows a different menu, select Add > Custom > Web.
- Enter Audiogest as the name. Paste this address into the MCP server URL field:
https://api.audiogest.app/mcp - Select Continue and review the settings Claude detects.
- For Authentication, choose Sign in now. For the setting that identifies Claude, choose Use Claude’s published identity. You do not need to enter separate sign-in codes or add request headers.
- Select Add, then Connect when shown.
- Sign in to Audiogest. On the permission page, select the organization you want to use, review the requested access, and allow the connection.
- Return to Claude and open a conversation. Select + > Connectors and enable Audiogest.
Use the Audiogest sign-in page to connect your account. Do not enter your Audiogest password into the connector settings.
For current Claude setup screens and workspace requirements, see Claude’s custom connector guide.
What can you do?
- Find recent recordings or search by file name, title, or words in a transcript or saved document.
- Read transcripts with speakers and timestamps.
- Find and read saved summaries, reports, and other documents.
- Ask Claude to summarize a meeting, collect decisions and next steps, or compare findings across interviews.
- Ask for links to the source files in Audiogest.
The connection can read your existing content. It cannot upload recordings, start transcription, edit or delete files, or save new documents in Audiogest. Answers and documents that Claude writes stay in your chat. To upload or process a new recording, open Audiogest.
Try these questions
- “Use Audiogest to summarize my latest meeting transcript. Include decisions and next steps.”
- “Find where we discussed pricing in my Audiogest recordings and show the relevant passages.”
- “Find my Audiogest reports about customer feedback and compare their main findings.”
- “Read the complete transcript of the planning meeting in Audiogest and list the action items. Include timestamps and links.”
Include a file name, topic, or phrase to help Claude find the correct content. For long recordings, ask it to continue reading until it has the complete transcript before drawing conclusions.
Which files can Claude read?
The connection uses the organization you selected when allowing access. Claude can read your own files, files shared with the organization, and files in shared folders. It cannot read another member’s private files.
To use a different organization, reconnect and select that organization on the Audiogest permission page.
Privacy and disconnecting
When Claude reads a transcript or document, that content is shared with Claude to answer your question. Review your Claude privacy and data settings before using confidential recordings. See the security and privacy section in Claude’s connector guide and the Audiogest privacy policy.
To disconnect, open Customize > Connectors in Claude, select Audiogest, and disconnect or remove the connector. This does not delete your files in Audiogest.
If something does not work
- You cannot add a connector: check your Claude plan and workspace permissions. Ask your workspace owner to add Audiogest if required.
- Claude cannot connect: check that the address is exactly
https://api.audiogest.app/mcp. - Sign-in fails: use Sign in now and Use Claude’s published identity. Verify your Audiogest email address and check that you can open the selected organization. If you need to change the connector settings, remove it and add it again.
- Claude does not use Audiogest: enable Audiogest in the conversation’s connectors menu and mention Audiogest in your question.
- A file is missing: check the selected organization and whether the file is yours or shared with you. Include its name in your question.
- The transcript is empty: open the recording in Audiogest and check that transcription has finished.
